According to ESPN, a ten-fold reduction in the cost of some tickets for the 2026 World Cup matches has been implemented by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

FIFA has reportedly released a new batch of tickets at a fixed price of $60 for each tournament match. The distribution of the items will be among the participating member associations for further sale to fans. It is estimated that approximately 10% of the total number of tickets issued to each country will be sold at this price.
The purchase of some of the tournament final tickets will be possible for fans at a price of $60 instead of the usual price of $4,185.
